Funding for Arizona’s Rural Energy Transition: Recommendations for State Policymakers

In January 2025, the JET Center applied for and was awarded a grant from the Resilient Energy Economies Initiative of Resources for the Future, a nonprofit research institution focused on informing environmental, energy, and natural resource decisions. The Funding for Arizona’s Rural Energy Transition Communities project  (Energy Transition Funding Project) was an 18-month project to research and create recommendations that could be used by state policy makers to support communities impacted by energy transition.
